Private donations from individuals, groups, and companies are a significant support to our outreach and education work. We are indebted to community members who have collected donations in lieu of gifts at birthday parties, filled the donation jar at our community table, and held formal fundraising events to raise money for this work. Donations allow us to connect with more health care providers in Hamilton who create more places to access gender-affirming care.
Transfers and Cheques
We happily accept donations in the form of an Electronic Money Transfer to treasurer@hthc.ca. We recommend the EMT password coalition.
We can accept cheques made out to Hamilton Trans Health Coalition and mailed to PO Box 60516 Mountain Plaza, Hamilton ON L9C 7N7.
We are a registered charity and offer office donation receipt on request when provided a donor’s full name and address. (Receipts are issued automatically for donations made with the form above.) Our charitable registration number is 746657477 RR 0001.
Start a Fundraiser & Accept Card Payments
You can start a fundraiser on Facebook, add a fundraiser to your Instagram post, or create a fundraiser on CanadaHelps and name the coalition as the beneficiary! You promote it on your page, your friends and family donate, the platform will send them official donation receipts and send us the proceeds.
